Our repeater is more than equipment on a tower — it's a community. Blackskye Community Radio Association depends on member support to cover maintenance, upgrades, and readiness. Whether you're new to radio or a longtime operator, your membership helps us serve and stay ready — so our community is always connected.
Becoming a member of Blackskye Community Radio Association is a great way to support a shared resource that brings people together. Your membership helps maintain equipment, expand coverage, and ensure reliable communications for everyday use and emergencies.
It also gives you a chance to connect with others who share an interest in community service and radio communications. Membership is open to everyone — you do not need a radio license to join.
Blackskye Community Radio Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Blackskye Community Radio Association was formed from the ground up in April 2025. In the months that followed, we fast-tracked building a solid foundation for organizational growth, operations, and community safety to continue into 2026 and beyond.
Your membership directly supports the infrastructure, operations, and growth of Blackskye Community Radio Association. Here's what you get as a member:
Connect with neighbors and fellow operators who share a commitment to community safety, practical readiness, and radio communications.
Your support directly ensures the network stays online when it matters — during storms, power outages, and communications emergencies.
Serve as a net control station during the weekly Neighborhood Readiness Net and ALERT Safety Net.
For just $25 a year, you become a vital part of keeping Waynesboro, PA and surrounding communities connected — on the air and ready for whatever comes.
